In this short video, we'll introduce you to Pixotope's feature, automatic color matching for XR productions. When you're doing an XR production, one of the key elements to success is that the colors within your scene are uniform. Most XR scenes extend outside of the LED wall with virtual set extensions. In order for this to look seamless, presenting continuity between the projection in the LED wall and the set extension is critical. While alignment is crucial, it's equally important to get a perfect color match between the LED wall and the set extension. Pixotope' will remarkably reduce the number of hours on set, and the complexity of the pre-production setup in an XR stage. And all that within Pixotope XR Edition software, without additional third-party tools, hardware, or licenses required. Directly controlled from Pixotope Director, we will only need to point the filming camera to the LED wall and initiate the guided automatic calibration process. Pixotope will then feed color charts and measure the output captured by the filming camera. This will provide LUTs that will then be applied to the set extensions so its colors match the LED walls. This process can be repeated as many times as desired, letting customers store multiple color profiles that may be sampled in different conditions. This enables our customers to switch between productions. where the color profiles are different and apply them immediately without having to do the color matching process again.
