The Applied Linguistics Student Research Group at ELTE's Department of Applied Linguistics and Phonetics is once again organizing its student conference. The deadline for applications is February 23, 2026.

The primary goal of the conference is to provide a forum for student and doctoral research that examines problems related to real-life language use and seeks solutions to them. An important goal is to enable students dealing with different linguistic and communicative phenomena to learn about each other's research results and to give them an opportunity to present their own topics and discuss their research dilemmas in a public professional setting. Presentations may be based on thesis or OTDK research.
